First large order

Peter Malin, our company founder, heard through the grapevine that a Vorarlberg textile company wanted to build a high-bay warehouse in the Vienna area. Sensing an opportunity, Peter instructed his secretary Marjeta to seek out the company and organize a phone call. No sooner said than done. After extensive research, Marjeta located a company that seemed to fit the description. Soon afterwards, Peter Malin and Ignaz Längle (then director of Triumph International in Wiener Neustadt) spoke on the phone. Peter showed his hand straightaway: "I've heard that you need a high-bay warehouse."

I also worked at Triumph on a regular basis during my student days, so I'm all the more pleased that we still work together today and bring projects to fruition together in Wiener Neustadt.

Konrad Eberle, CEO

As it turned out, Ignaz Längle knew nothing about it; it was actually another company with Vorarlberg roots who wanted to open a warehouse. Nevertheless, he found the idea exciting and, as a native of Vorarlberg himself, he appreciated the quality as well as the work ethic of the region. Our company founder was extended a spontaneous invitation to Vienna so that he could tell Ignaz more. In the end, Peter was able to convince the director of the necessity and usefulness of stacker cranes and automated intralogistics systems. This marked the start of a long-lasting partnership with Triumph.
Our current CEO, Konrad Eberle, also gained his first experiences of the intralogistics sector at Triumph. While still a student, he spent a few weeks every summer from 1983 to 1985 working in Triumph's assembly department.
